My Mom made this simple gift for me in 1999. It sits above my kitchen table
where I can always see it and remember her with love.
I loved sitting at my Mom's kitchen table with my sisters and our cups of tea.
We could talk, laugh, and pick at each other for hours.
What I wouldn't give for one more time at Jo's kitchen table.
Ode to Jo ~
Golfballs for dinner.
Golfballs for dinner.
Books abound, the smell of paint all around.
Stink eye and pink eye.
Love, knowledge and courage.
Cats, kids, messes, and kisses.
xoxo
I intentionally took this photo at crooked angle. My Mom was a lefty and
we always teased her about how everything she did was just a little off-kilter.
